Edgehill Country Park

Edgehill Country Park is situated on Camp Lane which forms part of a popular cycle route.
Easy access to Kineton, Edgehill, Warmington, Temple Herdewyk, Avon Dasset and Fenny Compton.

Set in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near to the Edgehill battle field, Edgehill Country Park extends to some sixteen acres of mixed grass and woodland, with extensive views over the rural South Warwickshire countryside. The woodland is an old bluebell wood. Three of those acres are for use as a rally field on level or gently sloping grass. There is a toilet block with toilets, showers, hand basins, and a washing up area. There is a chemical disposal point and mains water. There are no houses close by. Normal camp site rules apply for consideration of all campers. The approach is by a tarmac apron to two five bar gates, thus allowing complete off road parking should the gate be closed. There is a loose hard surfaced oval track providing better movement in wet weather. The site is on the top of a hill with very good drainage.

The site offers the perfect environment for those that just want to relax and absorb the natural beauty of the area, but for the more adventurous there is an array of footpaths nearby. There are many picturesque towns and villages within a short drive; These include Shakespeare’s birthplace at Stratford-Upon-Avon (16 miles), the market town at Banbury (6 miles), and medieval Warwick (14 miles). There are numerous visitor attractions in nearby locations and the Heritage Motor Museum only 4 miles away.

Local facilities include several pubs which all sell food, grocer, butcher, Chinese take-away and fish and chips, hair dresser, post office, and the larger towns mentioned above have major shopping centres.
